Introduction

Until Lubbih is formally incorporated, these documents are provided by the operators of the Lubbih platform ("Lubbih," "we," "us," or "our"). Your agreement is with those operators, reachable at the contact details below. When a registered company becomes the operator of Lubbih, these pages will be updated to name that entity.

Your trust matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when we share it. By using Lubbih (the website, apps, and related services), you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Lubbih.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

1. Information we collect

Account and profile information. When you create a customer cart checkout, merchant account, creator (affiliate) account, or admin account, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, password (stored hashed), and related profile details.

Purchase and voucher information. When you buy a deal we collect billing-related details needed to complete payment (typically processed by our payment provider), customer name, email, phone, cart contents, voucher/redemption codes, and redemption status.

Merchant information. Business name, contact details, address, deal content you submit, and communications about listings and payouts.

Creator / affiliate information. Name, email, phone, government ID where required for payouts, referral links, attributed sales, and payout details.

Gift or other party information. If you purchase for someone else and provide their details, you must have permission to share that information with us.

Automatically collected data. IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referral sources, and similar analytics. We use a referral/attribution cookie (or similar technology) when you arrive via a creator link so we can credit qualifying sales.

Information from others. We may receive limited data from payment processors, fraud-prevention tools, or partners needed to operate Lubbih.

2. How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and improve Lubbih (deals, carts, vouchers, redemption, merchant and creator portals)
• Process payments, issue vouchers, and send confirmations and service messages
• Attribute affiliate sales and calculate commissions where applicable
• Communicate about deals, account updates, support, and (with your consent or where permitted) marketing — you can unsubscribe from marketing emails
• Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, protect security, and comply with law
• Analyze aggregated usage to improve the product

3. How we share information

Merchants. We share information needed for them to honor a purchased deal (for example name on a voucher and redemption proof). We do not sell customer contact lists to merchants for marketing unrelated to the purchased experience.

Creators / affiliates. We may share aggregated or attribution-related information needed to report and pay commissions. We do not share full payment card data with creators.

Service providers. Payment processors, hosting, email delivery, analytics, and similar vendors who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect Lubbih, users, merchants, or the public.

Business changes. If Lubbih’s operations are later transferred to a registered company or sold, personal data may transfer as part of that transition, still subject to this Policy or a successor notice.

Aggregated data. We may share anonymous or aggregated statistics that do not identify you.

4. Accessing or updating your information

You may update certain account details through your merchant or creator portal, or by contacting us at deals@lubbih.com. We may keep residual records as required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

5. Your choices

You can choose not to provide optional information, though some features (purchases, accounts, payouts) require certain data. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those messages. We may still send transactional or service messages (receipts, voucher info, security notices).

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and attribute affiliate referrals (typically for a limited window such as seven days for creator links). You can block cookies in your browser; some features may not work correctly if you do.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures (for example encrypted transport, access controls, and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

Lubbih is not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 18 to create accounts or purchase deals. If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

9. External links

Lubbih may link to merchant sites or third-party pages. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before providing information there.

10. Visitors outside Jamaica

If you access Lubbih from outside Jamaica, your information may be processed in Jamaica or in other countries where our hosting and service providers operate. By using Lubbih you understand that information may be transferred to those locations.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and where appropriate we may notify you by email or notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
